India’s Best Design Awards 2026: Two Wins, One Team

By: paras.w  |  Added 31st Aug 2026

Brucira just won two awards at IBDA 2026:

  1. India’s Best Design Studio 2026.
  2. India’s Best Design Project 2026.

Since 2018, Brucira has worked as a strategic design and software development partner to companies looking to go beyond conventional design, combining strategic thinking with advanced design and technology to build future ready digital experiences.

We work closely with founders, CEOs, and executive teams through the moments that matter most: leadership changes, market expansions, product launches. This recognition reflects that approach, and the range of work we’ve been trusted with over the past year.

The work behind the win

Awards like this rarely come from one project. They come from a body of work, different briefs, different industries, different problems, all held to the same standard. Here’s a closer look at what that looked like over the last year.

Product & App Design

For BharatPe, we worked on a consumer-facing app revamp, rethinking how millions of everyday users interact with the product, and making sure that scale never came at the cost of clarity.

For Neo, the brief went further: app design paired with an AI chatbot experience. Designing for AI meant a different kind of problem-solving altogether, not just how something looks, but how it should feel to talk to. Helpful without being robotic. Smart without being cold.

For Swiggy Scenes, the focus was mobile app design, building an experience that had to work at the pace people actually use their phones: quick, intuitive, no second-guessing.

Web Experience

Joy Films came to us for a web experience design that needed to carry the weight of a creative brand, a site that felt as considered as the films it represented.

Pine Labs needed a brand website refresh, translating a large, trusted fintech name into a digital presence that felt current and clear.

And Dream Sports brought one of the bigger canvases of the year, a wider web transformation, built for a platform with millions of active users and very little room for the experience to feel anything less than seamless.

E-commerce

Three very different e-commerce stories shaped this part of the year. Mokobara, Plum, and Mivi each needed shopping experiences that did more than just display products, they needed to sell a feeling, guide a decision and make checkout the easiest part of the journey.

Brand & Illustration

For Myntra, the work moved away from interface and into identity, an illustration design system built to give the brand a visual language that could scale across touchpoints without losing its personality.

Different briefs. Different users. Different challenges. And, as a result, very different conversations, one week discussing how an app flow should feel faster and clearer, the next deep in illustration logic or figuring out how an AI-led experience should feel human. That range is central to how we work. Our approach is rooted in responsible, user-centric design, every solution is meant to deliver long-term business and cultural value, not just a polished surface.

One studio, many disciplines

The award reads “Design Studio,” but the work behind it never belongs to just one discipline.

  • A product designer shapes the experience.
  • A visual designer pushes the direction further.
  • An illustrator adds personality.
  • Motion brings it to life.
  • Development makes it real.
  • Project management keeps everything moving, and keeps the rest of the team from getting lost in the process.

Somewhere between all of that, the work stops being any one person’s and starts becoming one thing, built by the whole team, together.

Different industries, same standard

Looking back at the projects submitted for the awards, there wasn’t one visual style connecting them, and that’s intentional. BharatPe was never meant to feel like Mokobara. Myntra was never meant to feel like Pine Labs. A sports platform shouldn’t feel like an AI chatbot.

Our job isn’t to make every project look like “Brucira.” It’s to understand what a brand or product genuinely needs, and build the strongest version of that sometimes by simplifying something that’s become too complex, sometimes by building a stronger brand presence, sometimes by making an experience more intuitive.

The team behind it

Awards arrive at the end of a project, but the work happens well before that in review calls, early drafts, feedback that sends a project back to the drawing board, and the details that get caught and fixed long before a client ever sees them.

Every person at Brucira, designers, developers, illustrators, motion designers, project managers, and everyone working behind the scenes contributes to that standard. Different strengths, different instincts, different ways of solving the same problem, but the same bar for what “good enough” actually means.

This recognition belongs to that entire team.

Looking back as we move ahead

Brucira started as an idea in 2018. Since then, the team has grown, more disciplines have come on board, and larger brands have trusted us with bigger problems, work that has since travelled well beyond the studio it was made in.

We’re grateful for that trust, and for this recognition. But the work continues much the same way it always has: understanding the brief, questioning the first draft, and building something better than the last project.

Thank you to India’s Best Design Awards for the recognition, and to everyone at Brucira who contributed to the work that got us here; this one’s yours.

Actually, both of them are. 🏆🏆
